An instantaneous upsurge of united movement by Joint Forum of all Officers' Associations of BGVB for long 48 hours at-a- stretch, tedious and hectic Dharna, Demonstration and Gherao before Head Office at Berhampore, West Bengal has yielded immaculate success on unconditional surrendering by the Chairman.
1. The unlawful mass transfers in the name of Temporary Posting of officers posted at Head Office as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in different ROs have been revoked unconditionally.
2. The DO Letters with caution and decision to record thereof in personal files issued against officers of Head Office for not attending official meetings on 13 & 14 (both holidays) as also not attending the Independence Day's Celebration at Head Office, have unconditionally been withdrawn.
3. The working on Sundays and Holidays has been declared as out and out OPTIONAL and there shall be no Coercive Measures for that, has been assured in black and white.
4. The Chairman verbally regretted before the gathering about unwarranted situation created thereby and also calling of police forces in Head Office premises.
The present Agitational Programme has been deferred sine die on having Letter of Written Commitment from Management.
