As per discussion of the Officials of the Office of DY. CLC (C), New Delhi had with us, we met them on 11.08.2022 and discussed the matter of why we did not attend the Conciliation on 04.08.2022. The Officials requested us to take part in the next Conciliation on 05.09.2022 or as may be rescheduled as per our Notice of Agitation Programme dated 29.06.2022. We placed all the relevant information including the status of so called Joint Platform already circulated by us. They also agreed the matter and stated that in a democratic system they have to go by certain norms and the smaller unions or unions with nominal followers take advantage as in other sector also. Finally they assured us to allow sufficient time and proper hearing to all our points before allowing other unions. We pointed out that it is needless to invite Sponsor Banks and RRBS as they have nothing to do in the matter of settlement of RRB issues, and so the DFS and NABARD may only be requested to attend the Conciliation to ensure meaningful discussion and fruitful outcome / decision.
